The parawing is changing the way riders explore foiling. No mast, no lines, just a compact kite-like wing held directly in your hands. Different from wingfoil, and worth exploring.
The parawing is one of the most talked-about innovations in foiling right now. It's a soft inflatable wing, closer in design to a paraglider than a wingfoil wing, that you hold directly in your hands without a rigid boom. The result: a more intuitive power delivery, a different feel on the foil, and a discipline that opens new possibilities, particularly for downwind riding.
Is it better than wingfoil? That's the wrong question. It's different, and for certain riders, it might actually be a better fit.
El Médano's consistent trade winds, flat water inside the harbour, and warm year-round temperatures make it one of the best places in Europe to learn any foil discipline, parawing included.
